Fees and Billing
- Consultations Fee Schedule
- Payment for consultations are to be made on the day according to the schedule:
- Initial Appointment: $350 - Rebate: $88.40
- Follow Up Appointment: $200 - Rebate: $44.45
- The Practice does not Bulk Bill.
Surgical Procedures:
- If surgery is recommended, you will be provided with a surgical estimate, including the Medicare rebate, associated private health fund rebate and out of pocket costs.
- Appointments scheduled within 6 weeks after your surgery do not incur a consultation fee.
Worker’s Compensation and CTP Patients
- A/Prof Higgs will review Worker’s compensation and CTP (motor vehicle) patients on a case-by-case basis, as such please email your referral letter prior to your appointment.
- Your appointment will not be confirmed until Dr Higgs has had the opportunity to review your referral
- Please forward written approval confirmation from your insurer and any relevant claim numbers and documentation.
